Mold Inspection & Mold Testing Conducted by Trained & Certified Mold Inspectors

Mastertech’s inspection process is designed to both uncover potential mold growth AND uncover the moisture source causing the mold in the first place. Indoor fungal activity often means an underlying water problem that is allowing enough moisture buildup to sustain mold growth. When dealing with mold, you have to address the moisture problem as well in order to avoid future problems. Through the use of advanced inspection technology like moisture meters and infrared cameras, we will be able to identify and report mold-conducive conditions along with signs of potential growth.

Mastertech inspectors are fully trained & certified to provide thorough inspections backed by honest and accurate reporting. Our inspection process includes a visual assessment, moisture mapping, thermal imaging and mold testing, We offer indoor air quality testing and assessments to determine if your indoor mold spore levels are higher than they should be. If you are concerned with your indoor air quality or potential toxic mold, air testing will provide the necessary answers to your mold-related questions. We provide detailed documentation and reports to ensure that our clients have a clear understanding of everything we found, what we did to find it, and how to proceed after the inspection.

Mastertech's Mold Inspection Process

A Certified Mold Inspector (CMI) from Mastertech will perform a visual inspection AND take laboratory samples that will definitively confirm or deny the presence of mold. If the mold inspection reveals a mold problem, we will prescribe an appropriate mold remediation solution.

Visual Inspection

Conduct a thorough visual inspection of the areas of concern to look for signs of mold or signs of water buildup that could cause & support mold growth -- black mold, toxic mold or otherwise.

Moisture Mapping

Use advanced technology to map out moisture patterns, find areas where water intrusion may be a problem and determine where the water starts & stops.

Thermal Imaging

Use infrared cameras to conduct a thermal Imaging scan of all surfaces to identify  surfaces and areas that could be vulnerable to mold growth and moisture infiltration.

Air Quality Testing for Mold

Conduct indoor air quality testing to determine if there are elevations in the mold levels of the indoor environment. Air quality samples are analyzed by a 3rd-party, accredited laboratory.

Surface Testing for Mold

Collect surface samples for testing. This includes swab or bio tape mold samples to determine the amount of mold and the species of mold present on surfaces or belongings.

Reports

Includes a detailed lab report with a complete analysis of air and surface samples and a detailed inspection report outlining what we did, what we found, where we found it & what to do next.
