Meet the Team

Mastertech of North Jersey

Mastertech Environmental was started in 2016 and is based in Denville, NJ. Owned and managed by lifelong NJ resident Eric Green. Managers Donovan (Operations) and Dylan (Inspections) have been with the company from day 1.

We don’t use subcontractors. We do one job at a time. Our team cares about what they do and the people we serve. We will almost never be the cheapest option, we won’t be the most expensive – but we’ll be the best.

Our mission

Nobody is perfect, but we try to live by these values:

  • We’re safe, they’re safe. - Meaning our first priority is to keep our technicians and our clients safe.
  • Do the right thing - Especially when nobody is looking. This one is kind of straight forward.
  • Time is your total capital - we want to use our time wisely and efficiently. Make a plan - Expect a few variables. Try to keep your timeline estimates accurate.
  • Be Profitable - It’s the last value in this list for a reason, but we are a company and need to at least make some money.

LICENSING & CERTIFICATIONS

Fully Insured, Certified Mold Specialists

Fully Insured

We carry General Liability, Pollution and Workers’ Compensation Insurance. We will provide you with a copy of our certificate of insurance.

Nationally Certified

We are an IICRC Certified Firm. Our technicians are certified and trained by the IICRC and in-house to exceed those standards.

Environmental Specialists

We don’t do build-back or painting. We’re great at remediating mold or finding items of value during a hoarding cleanup. We are terrible at painting and finish work. We can probably recommend someone if you need it.

Things to Consider

Are you covered by your home owners insurance for your water/mold/fire loss? Great, we’re happy to do the work to the highest standard, BUT…we work for you, not your insurance company. They don’t usually like that, but there’s a couple of good reasons you should want it this way.

When the insurance company attempts to pay the contractor like us directly, they will want to decide how the work should be done (surprisingly, it’s usually the cheapest way – not the safest way. Hmm.) In the end, you pay us and the insurance company reimburses you. It’s an extra step, but typically worth the hassle.

One Last Thing

Thank you for considering Mastertech Environmental for your mold testing, mold cleanup, water damage restoration, hoarding cleanup and crime scene cleanup needs.

We understand that health and property are at stake and hiring the right company is important.
